Fried Eggs, Russian Style

I actually don’t know if this recipe for fried eggs is authentically Russian. I learned it while living in Russia, so to me its Russian.

Anyway, it’s quite simple and easy to prepare, and its my favourite way to prepare fried eggs for breakfast.

Start by heating a frying pan with olive or sunflower oil.
Then add one medium size diced tomato and start stirring it until tomatoes look half-cooked.

Now you can add 2-3 eggs and cook them for a few mins.

You can flip eggs and cook them for a min or so.

The last step is to make a toast and to place your creation on top it. That’s how you should serve your eggs. Enjoy! 🙂

  1. now that’s an egg as it was intended to be. I do wish there were more fresh eggs around here, I remember growing up and driving to pick them up every week, sometimes we would get double yolkers .what a treat!
